Eric Bissonnette

Eric was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec where his passion for hockey led him to play in the QMJHL for four seasons. Following his Junior career, he joined U-Sports with the St Thomas Tommies where he played for 5 seasons while receiving a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Bachelor of Education degree from St Thomas University in Fredericton, NB. After his playing career, Eric worked in many capacities in the hockey world. He held positions such as head coach, general manager, scout and strength and conditioning coach. For years Eric worked with athletes at the elite level including Midget AAA, Major Junior, Junior A and University where he gained valuable experience. This experience helped him launch BizzFitness in 2007. After graduating from university in 1997, Eric began a 10 year teaching career that ended in 2007 when he took his existing part-time fitness business into a full-time career. Eric feels strongly that his teaching degree and experience in the classroom has helped him with the delivery of his program, and ability to connect with his clients. Eric’s biggest passion has always been fitness, and his desire to make a difference in people’s lives. In 1997, after graduation, he started his fitness business with a strong focus on hockey players. Over the last 20 years, his business has grown to include a wide variety of athletes from many different sports. From hockey to football, synchronized swimming (artistic swimming), figure skating, and many more. Eric continues to work with countless fitness enthusiasts of all fitness levels. Eric’s passion and desire to help people be the best version of themselves is at the core of his values. He believes that everyone deserves an opportunity to learn and benefit from all of the positive that comes from regular physical activities. His biggest sense of accomplishment comes from seeing his clients achieve balance in all aspects of their lives.
HEATHER ZILBERT
Flow With Me
Heather was born and raised in Fredericton NB. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Brunswick, Majoring in Psychology. When Heather was young, she spent all of her time at the pool as a competitive synchronized swimmer, now known as Artistic Swimming. Heather continued her love of the sport and became a Certified National Level Coach while attending University. For 30 years she trained athletes in and out of the water. From 2014-2018 Heather took on the role of Fitness Manager at Kingswood Fitness. In 2020, Heather decided to expand her certification and enrol in the Essentrics™ training program and enhanced her flexibility knowledge with an emphasis on mobility training. So far she has been able to share her knowledge with swimmers, dancers, hockey players and her long time fitness family. Heather’s most important achievement is being a proud mother to 2 adult boys, who are following a path of health and fitness. Outside of the fitness world, Heather is Co-Owner of The Lighting Gallery, a successful lighting showroom in the city of Fredericton. Heather’s goal is to help others transform their lives by making health and wellness accessible to all, while maintaining life balance.
